Discussion

We're going to measure the impact of our games on our bodies. Watch the first video to find out what sport physiologists do to measure the impact of activities on sports people. As a class discuss what things you could measure to assess the impact of your games on your bodies.

Watch the second video to find out what sport psychologists do to measure the impact of activities on wellbeing.

As a class discuss what things you could measure to assess the impact of your games on your wellbeing.

Step 1: Create a survey to measure the effects of your activity

Now that we understand how regular physical activity has on our bodies and our wellbeing, it's time to measure the impact that our own activities have on participants!

We will ask our participants some questions that will allow us to measure how successful our activity has been.

Use a rating scale 1-10 as the measuring tool to answer each of our questions:

Decide on 5-6 questions for participants. Remember you are asking questions about whether people trying out the activity can see how well the activity met the goals you set for the activity. We will provide the first question to demonstrate how it works.

Was the activity fun?

Decide your remaining questions and create your questionnaire/form for completion by participants in your activity.

Step 2: Ask participants to complete the questionnaire

At the completion of testing of your activity give your questionnaire to the participants who tested your activity.
