Group Manager, People and Culture
Bron joined Sport NZ in August 2022 in the role of Group Manager, People and Culture.
Bron has a diverse sector background including retail, energy, software tech, manufacturing, and consulting. Bron has held senior leadership roles in a variety of local and multi-national organisations, predominantly leading complex culture, change, and transformation programmes.
Bron holds an MBA, has attended leadership training at Stanford University, and actively maintains ongoing learning on progressive workplace practices. Bron is a member of the NZ Institute of Directors, the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD – UK), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM – USA).
Bron is driven towards achieving outcomes and delivery through people and performance, with a particular passion and purpose for mahi that benefits Aotearoa. This has included volunteer roles at Business Mentors NZ, and Manaaki (small business), and founding the first Agile HR Meetup in NZ.
Bron enjoys all activities recreation-based, particularly those involving being on, in, or near the water. Bron’s family shares a passion and interest in sport including supporting her son in his Taekwondo career, including his achievement of becoming Junior World Champion (Germany).
